Instructors and students using technology for new forms of blended learning typically say that the benefits are great, but the new roles and tasks involved can be burdens in terms of time investment and personal management.

 

Studying the costs involved with technology use for learning, particularly in terms of time and overload, and helping to reduce them are on-going focuses of our work.
