We live in a Knowledge Society, which means:

  • Needing to manage the increased mobility of information and workforce
  • Needing to work in multidisciplinary and distributed teams
  • Needing to use information technology for knowledge management, sharing, and creation

In the corporate and professional sector, this also means:

  • Needing to capture and leverage the tacit knowledge of the organization

We believe that learning should respond to these needs. The figure illustrates this.

These ideas are discussed in our book, “Technology as a Learning Workbench”, downloadable via the Resources section of this site.
